Hi

Does anybody have experience with dealing with seasonal allergies? I haven't tried drugs yet, but before buying some I would like to hear if anybody has something to share with me.

Best,
Jimmy.

I have the same problem. I've read that seasonal allergies might be caused by insufficient cortisol due to adrenal fatigue. Cortisol is an anti-inflammatory hormone, and seasonal allergies are essentially inflammatory responses to pollen antigens. Adequate levels of cortisol during the day are needed to check the inflammatory response.

I've read other theories suggesting that seasonal allergies are caused by gut dysfunction. Both theories seem plausible.

a < r, did you have a particular thread in mind? None of the search results seemed to address the relationship between stomach acid and seasonal allergies.

Something I noticed over the last couple of days: coffee seems to reduce the severity of my allergy symptoms. Coffee is supposed to increase cortisol production.
