ZX42 test drive
As you may have heard, I have been given a two month supply of ZX42 to test out. I received a USPS box containing two dropper bottles of topical solution. I was instructed to apply the product twice a day, one time being right after exiting the shower for better absorption. I was also instructed to use Nizoral shampoo.
The topical solution is a white milky liquid with a consistency a little thinner than pudding; once applied to the scalp it doesn't run.
It has a little bit of an alcohol scent, but smells really good (rosemary?). It takes a couple minutes to dry and didnt leave my head feeling oily at all.
According to the creator of the formula, Alan, I should see very noticeable results by the end of the two month trial; according to him he regrew most of his hair within a years time. How much loss he had a year ago is unclear.
So what I'm going to do is apply this product as recommended and post pictures every two weeks to see if anything is going on up there. I will trim my hair with a 5mm guard before each round of photos, and will use the same camera in the same room under the same light each time. Any new growth will be very evident.
I took these last night:
Right temple
Fivehead
Left temple
Vertex

Re: ZX42 test drive
this guy creates 2 false accounts tracked to the same IP address pretending to be users of the product, and now ur testing his product for him?
this zx42 guy must think theres a sucker born every minute. good luck anyway, i suspect the minoxidil will grow some hair, but then why not just use minox on its own instead of being addicted to a product that will likely be gone in a few yrs time.

Re: ZX42 test drive
it does contain ingredients which have been known to cause hair growth, i guess the product is an all in one solution, rather than having to buy every inrgedient separatley and mix it yourself.
i do think intradermally, the results could be fascinating.

I'm not going to do the Margo method while I'm on this trial, nor will I do any massages other than just stretching my scalp when it gets tight from stress.
I will still brush my hair, but only around 100 strokes a day;?about what people typically perform.

Is it just my phone, or do the areas of interest appear cropped off?

They do appear cropped/cut in half. thanks for posting them though. I can't wait to see what happens. I actually took a couple closeup pics of my scalp on 05/02 (33 days of ZX42). I won't post in this thread though. I will post them in the other one.

I took some close up high resolution pictures so you can really see the size of the miniturized hairs. This should mak it easier to tell if they are growing.

Re: ZX42 test drive
Since this area should be fairly easy to track, I wanted to focus on the hair count in this picture of the thin patch in the middle of my hairline.
I want to focus on the new growth below the red line. Right now it looks like there are 25 hairs that have a dark tint to them..

Re: ZX42 test drive
If you weren't on Minoxidil, before trying this product, you will probably see results.
I think most people acknowledge that minox and fin can be effective in regrowing hair, but the long term side effects aren't worth it and some rather identify and address the underlying health issues that are contributing to their hair loss.
The real test would be seeing if you have better results from this product than just using standard minoxidil.
Anyway best of luck!

Yup, not really sure what the point of the test is? We know minox is effective. I was kinda enjoying SlowMoe's scalp method progress!

These guys promise big results in a short period of time. Seems worth a shot to me, especially if it is free. I was actually planning in buying many of te ingredients in this formula to try.

Was one of the ingredients you were planning on buying Minox?

I just wanted to point out that ZX42 only contains 1.8 percent minoxidil. Actually 1.8 is a conservative number because the aim is to include 1.5 percent and the 0.3 is added to account for margin of error. Rogaine, for example, contains 5 percent (the maximum allowed by the FDA). Most people who have used such a small amount of Minoxidil on its own, know that that it has little effect. Also, you can attempt to take all of the ingredients of ZX42 and mix them together. They are listed on our website www.hairfuelonline.com and try it. That's a challenge. We know you won't get the same results because it has already been tried. You see, over 4 years of 15 hour days went into this. While everyone else was out socializing, drinking beers, watching TV and enjoying life, Mr. Tomlinson locked himself away. When he wasn't working, he slept. Finally it was discovered that the ingredients were right, but not the way it was processed. I'll give you a hint.....timing and temperature. That's all I can say to you. I will address ZX42 growth time frames in the other relevant reply. Thanks

You will see new growth starting in 1-2 months. It will start out as a "peach fuzz" and be white in color. Between 3 and 6 months the strands will start to strengthen and thicken. They will develop into the natural color of your hair. By one years time, it should be very filled in. After you feel you are satisfied with amount of hair you have, you can cut back your usage in half to maintain.

Re: ZX42 test drive
People have used 2% minox with success as well, which I imagine isn't all that different from a 1.8% concentration.
Time will tell I guess. It's just a bit shady when you pretend to be different people by making up multiple user names, so I think it's reasonable to understand our general skepticism. If it actually works you'll be a rich man, no need to try and trick people.

Jcreely (Joe) isn't the creator. I believe he just created a website to promote the product.

If the pics are cropped off you can right click hit properties and it should take you to my photobucket account where you can better see the pictures.

Patch in the front
There appears to be 29 visible hairs in this picture, below the red line. I cant really say if the lighting has an influence; the last pic 2 weeks ago had 25 visible hairs. It does appear that the clear vellus hairs are growing and that the bases are much thicker and darker than the tips.

I didnt cut my hair for this round of pics; however I believe that the area of interest is the vellus hairs which are growing and are darker and thicker at the base.

we are always amazed but not surprised. we know what it does. thank you for monitoring your progress. how long has it been...2 weeks so far?
I just got the best email from a current customer. His problem was that he was not bald at any one spot, just losing hair all throughout is head. Young guy, I would say late 20's or early 30's. The email I received was "ZX42 is the BEST!!!...." I am not going to type the rest of his email. Those are the the kind of things that make us feel great. People who are happy....I look forward to following your progress!
