Honestly, I'm a glass half full kind of person, I will say that my hair is okay and will get better. Considering I have been on most of the commercial stuff i.e. proscar, minox etc. my hair right now is doing better than when I was on those. Not terribly better, but definitely feels better. I think it will improve more with continued metal detox and targeting stress.
I would say I am a nw2 going towards a nw3. No balding on the crown just diffuse up there. Probably same as you with the temple recession. My hairline is a mess with more recession on the left side than the right.
What I do know that has worked for me is ecklonia cava, and metal detox with iodine and companions (atp co-factors, selenium, zinc, vitamin c, magnesium w/potassium), humifulvate, and to a lesser extent MCP. Also sensoril helped reduce stress a lot, but I was not on it for very long.
cpio, do you have a stress in your life? Sensoril could be an option if you think your endocrine system can use it. I'm actually ordering some more tomorrow.

Re: Vote: Canned foods
bh20, I havent done any metal detox. I also take Ashwagandha.
My left side is also receeding dramatically more than the right. It appears that my
right temple has stopped receeding and the receedding of the left as sped up.
