Ds Labs Spectral F7 Astressin B - Would it be beneficial for MPB too?
Hello,
As you may already know, the latest development for hair loss is astressin-b. Many people are talking about it as if it could really regrow hair. The research clearly states that stressed out mice (i.e mice with elevated level of corticotrophin-releasing factor) completely restored their hair loss. The question is would this be beneficial to mpb sufferers also.
With the current male pattern baldness theory potentially flawed, which many already know isn't just caused by elevated DHT, but is due to other factors such as inflammation, insulin resistance, calcification, thyroid disorders, food intolerance, heavy metal accumulation and poor circulation, could it be that astressin-b is the final piece of the puzzle?
Has anyone in their research of hair loss, seen any correlation between corticotrophin-releasing factor and mpb? Does corticotrophin have influences on things like IGF-1, DKK, MMP9 and inflammation? I think I have read somewhere that cortisol had some relation to mpb. However, I don't know if cortisol is related to corticotrophin. One correlation that I found which is exciting is this:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16174714 There are already many research suggesting that MMP-9 causes hair loss. And guess what there is another correlation; i.e between insulin and corticotrophin-releasing factor. Insulin resistance as a cause of hair loss has been mentioned many times on this forum. http://joe.endocrinology-journals.org/content/197/2/231.full.pdf
If anyone has any links to research indicating as stress and corticotrophin as the cause of mpb, please post links.
