Probiotic Intake Empty Probiotic Intake

Post  jmoss1982 Thu Aug 04, 2011 10:48 am

I've been taking probiotics since ~ end of January. I began by taking the Jarrows product recommended by CS and then the Healthy Origins 30 Billion CFU. Should probiotics be taken continuously? Should one take a break periodically? Or perhaps it would be good to switch to a different brand/type?

Incidentally I found this product when I went to order my ALCAR/ALA:

The price seems great but again I'm not sure if taking it would be productive.

I'm not sure about the answer if it will be productive for you or not, but if you wanted to go cheaper you could make your own probiotics too like kefir, yogurt,or kombucha.

CS recently wrote up a list of the top 10 probiotic foods if you want to take a break from the supplements.
