Many health benefits associated with Astaxanthin

Hello everyone!!
We all know by now that Krill Oil contains Astaxanthin, but would it be advisable to supplement with extra Astaxanthin in order to achieve more health benefits?
Im thinking about trying this product ---- http://www.iherb.com/Healthy-Origins-Astaxanthin-4-mg-150-Softgels/30648?at=hil335 (or similar) ---- but im not sure of it is helpful or completely unnecessary. A lot of sane doctors recommends Astaxanthin, but I also read on this board that CS earlier wrote that supplementing with extra Astaxanthin is not needed if one is taking Krill Oil.

JeetKuneDo - If one is not taking Ecklonia cava, then taking extra Astaxanthin would be a good idea.

Interesting. So CS, are you saying that Ecklonia Cava and Astaxanthin are interchangeable? I mean do they both serve the same purpose?

No, their similarities end with their fat solubility and anti-wrinkle effects.

This study says Astaxanthin covers more areas like MMP-9, however not sure how about potency compare to Ecklonia Cava.

no one has ever regrown hair taking astaxanthin, if that answers your question

it may enhance other items though, for example

coq10
tocotrienols
saw palmetto
beta sitosterol
b6
zinc

And you base this assumption on what? We are yet to discover natural supplement that will regrow hair as a standalone. I rather take Astaxanthin or Ecklonia Cava than Coconut oil, Raw Carrot and Gelatine combined which even with diet modifications won't do jack if your loss is aggressive.
