If I may ask, out of curiosity, why don't you order from nidhogge?...If the people on this forum do not support them, who will?

the one that if there's lead forces them to warn you stating it contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

These warnings are meaningless, and are designed to scare you.
Are they accurate? No, in fact most of the products they require this label do just the opposite.
However, whose going to be taking this while pregnant anyway?

Thanks mihai! Yea, the stuff that we put out is a much better value and product than Fibroboost if you break down the amount of actual Ecklonia Cava in the bottle per dollar as compared to FibroBoost. Very good feedback on it too.

There seems to be LEAD in quite a few Allergy Research Group products. See:

That report is actually very worrying.
I was just about to buy Fibroboost, now I'm not so sure. Ecklonia Cava seems very promising, but I'm not really interested in consuming lead! I hope Allergy Research sort this out.
nidhogge, has your product been tested for lead?

I just looked at our "Certificate of Analysis" from the factory, and the heavy metal content is less than 10 PPM (particles per million), which conforms to USP standards. I believe Lead falls under the heavy metal category, but I'm double-checking with our supplier just to be sure. I'm guessing because of the low-temperature, water-based extraction, and 98.8% purity of this extract, that it does make a big difference as opposed to FibroBoost as it is a 13% extract.

Cool, that is reassuring. Though look forward to when you hear back from your supplier to confirm. I'll probably be buying your product, but it never hurts to check these things properly!
There is, of course, a chance the lead has nothing to do with the Ecklonia Cava, in the report quite a few Allergy Research products had lead in them whether or not they were Ecklonia Cava based. Maybe something to do with the manufacturing plant? Who knows.

Thank you!
Here is the response:
"Dan,
When we test for heavy metals, lead is included in the list and 10ppm is less than the total amount of heavy metals.
Nando"

As noted the prop65 warning is fairly useless. Breathing will expose you to enough lead and according to the law air should have a prop65 label on it.
From my understanding you will only see this warning on products that I are produced are sold from businesses out of Cali.

Sublime: had you taken the time to look at the heading of the first page of the very relevant document i linked to, you would know that Nutricology is based in Alameda, CA. Just next to Berkeley, if you don't know...
