Buzzing sensation at the back of the neck Empty Buzzing sensation at the back of the neck

Post  9rugrats5 Sat May 07, 2011 7:26 am

These days, when I'm sitting in front of my notebook, I sometimes get a strange *buzz* on the most prominent bony protrusion at the base of the neck on the dorsal (back) side. I think it is the C7 verteba or vertebra prominens. The buzzing moves about a bit. It is not pleasant or annoying, but a feeling as if somene is pushing down with an electric toothbrush. Anyone got a clue what this is? When I stand up after this or lie down, it goes away. Am I putting pressure or pinching some nerve in this area?

puzzled,
