They probably fall for the same marketing tactics that most people do, so maybe they poison themselves equally.

I've heard stories of FDA higher-ups going to Europe for alternative cancer treatments.

My dad was telling me the CEO of Dole fruits spent tons of money for a private lab to research what foods he should eat to extend his life.

I have direct experience at one pharmaceutical giant where everyone supporting the CEO, not only: use their blockbuster products, but insist on the them for their friends and family. I got tired of speaking to walls and now look at the situation as Darwin would. Wall St. austerity will probably bring them all around to working for supplement manufactures, if the pharmaceuticals don't eventually manage to strong-arm those same manufacturers.

I can't speak to food company CEOs specifically, but most Executives that I know have such busy schedules and stressful lives, they neglect their health immensely.
