Shaving foam? Empty Shaving foam?

Post  lambyjay Sun Apr 17, 2011 11:56 pm

A bit off topic but i cant seem to find any good natural shaving foam/gel/oils out there and all the commercial ones are full of awful stuff.

Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks

I'm looking for that too!
I bought one from miessence and I don't like it at all. It's not foaming, hard to wash off....it's more like a lubricant

I don't know of any foams, but I have been using organic conditioner to shave for a while and I'll never go back. It takes a little more to get a decent lather from it (definitely easier with a shaving lather brush), and you have to let it sit on your skin for a minute, but I always end up with a really nice shave with it.

you can get natural shaving soaps Smile that just lather up and stuff...

um... other than that I don't know. I've just been using a normal supermarket one, so maybe I should look to replace it as I've been trying to replace everything else with natural alternatives so far!

Use some oldschool shaving soap and a traditional brush made of badger bristles. This is far superior to the standard shaving foams and you can get all natural shaving soaps from many brands, for example Mama Bears Soaps or Olivias handmade soaps.
