Quit Smoking question
I'm hoping someone with some experience or knowledge can help me out with this one.
Does anyone know of a quick effective way to quit smoking? It's not for me but my dad who wants to stop and I'm wondering it there are any natural treatments or supplements to help him quit and help the body get rid of the chemicals.

Re: Quit Smoking question
Cod turkey is the way to go if you ask me.
Not long ago CS mentioned a supplement able to block nictone from the receptors, might want to look that up. Homepathics should work great for this too! Recently I came accross tabacum, I wanted to use it when I smoke, but should work the other way around :p
Last but not least, if you(or your dad) don't quit, be sure to smoke organic tobacco and supplement with: iodine, selenium, silica, brocomax, EGCG and vit. c

Re: Quit Smoking question
I'll tell you the only way that worked for me and that is cold turkey. Please ask your dad to look at www.whyquit.com.
They way I dealt with the 3-day withdrawal was to seclude myself in my house and watch movies and read. I have heard that lithium orotate (5 mg per 50 lbs of body weight and possibly more when quitting smoking) or anxiety medication (such as clonazepam) can help b/c you can sleep through some of your withdrawal and you are just less agitated while withdrawing. Quitting smoking is tough but not impossible. Eventually your brain quits telling you life is no fun without cigarettes--so those thoughts should be ignored because they are not true. I wish all the best for your Pop
