Is DIM really superior to I3C?

It seems to me that a lot of articles advocating DIM over I3C are written/backed by people who are selling DIM products.

I found this report very interesting. It's from the Point Institute of Neutracuetical Research and it basically says that fears about I3C are unfounded. However it's not promoting I3C over DIM at all. It states that I3C is actually active in serum (not just DIM) and that it is very likely that I3C and DIM work better together than just DIM alone.

What's more I really don't see how I3C can be considered unsafe since this is what you get when you eat cruciferous vegetables.

Thoughts, explanations?

I know CS has advocated DIM over I3C in the past but I've read that most of the studies that are used to tout the benefits of DIM were actually on I3C. Also alot of people (gearheads on bb forums) are saying that most of the "experts" (Dr. Zelig) that advocate DIM are selling a DIM product and I3C is actually the superior supplement.

Just trying to get to the bottom of the I3C DIM debate.
