Renokin Scam or Legit
Has anybody heard of or using Renokin. The company that makes it, Caregen, is out of Korea. They are using the peptides that mimic the Wnt Protein in their shampoo and conditioner. Of course the product is very expensive.

Although they claim an increase in thickness, the pics are not very impressive.

Re: Renokin Scam or Legit
From what I understand Caregen is a pretty reputable company, so I doubt it's a scam. The question I would have is whether or not this kind of formulation works without the kind of repair process initiated by damage to the skin, the way that Follica is doing it.
I know CS has stated that a year on the lithium/DMSO shampoo that would theoretically raise WNT3 levels didn't garner much of anything as far as regrowth is concerned, and I know through my own experimentation that using lithium/DMSO over regenerating skin (cause by applying Lugol's solution) for the same amount of time as the big boys would apply their WNTs after abrading the skin didn't gain me anything beyond what the Lugol's did by itself. Point being that you may need some kind of trauma induced regeneration for this kind of thing to be effective, as my guess is that that regeneration response is much more important to the reformation of hair follicles than what substances are used to help stem cells differentiate into follicle cells.
One way or the next, I plan on picking up a bottle of this stuff and using it in place of lithium/DMSO in my wounding/iodine regeneration experiments. Hopefully they'll have a proper supplier in the states by then.

Re: Renokin Scam or Legit
TheFunkyStumpfighter,
I think the Renokin product may be under the name of Dermaheal in the U.S. Amazon has both the shampoo and conditioner plus the serum concentration and it's in stock. Still pricey, but it's a little less expensive at Amazon. There are currently no reviews on this product at Amazon.
