Stop taking anything that you suspect is making your hair get worse.

Flaxseed oil made me lose temple hair and gave me serious, fat, cystic acne on my scalp and neck. I didn't suspect that flaxseed oil was the culprit (having being told that it was good for the hair) until i decided not to buy anymore and found that my pustule-nasty acne went down in size. When i tried some flaxseed oil again, i got the acne again and my temples took a serious hit that never recovered.

I wish i had researched flaxseed oil a bit more before i delved into it.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15075703

"Conversion of alpha-linolenic acid to eicosapentaenoic acid is limited in men and further transformation to docosahexaenoic acid is very low. Overall, alpha-linolenic acid appears to be a limited source of longer-chain n-3 fatty acids in man and so adequate intakes of preformed n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, in particular docosahexaenoic acid, may be important for maintaining optimal tissue function." It'll really deplete your stores of zinc and b6 which you need for your hair as they both fight the Test to DHT conversion.

Alpha-linolenic acid intake is also associated with increased prostate cancer.

Manliest anti-supplement statement ever. Props. Haha.
