Testosterone Booster
I am thinking of adding a testosterone booster to my supplement regimen. My main goals are to get more out of my workouts - add lean muscle while cutting fat - and to increase libido.
Has anyone on this board had experience or opinions on the following supps?
Activate Xtreme
http://anabolicminds.com/store/1414.html
Zeus
http://astronutrition.com/testosterone-support-15/zeus-test-booster-613/
Also, if I were take one or both of these, how (if at all) would these affect hair? Also, is there anything in the regimen I should stop taking because it might interfere with these?

PP's products are top-notch, I've used Sustain-Alpha and loved it!

Did you use the lotion or the spray?
What effects did you notice?

Re: Testosterone Booster
It's a lotion, and I would apply it on my forearms, shoulders, chest, and abs.
Better sleep, more energy, better lifts. Not sure if it negatively benefitted my hair or not, I'd have to test it in my current state where my loss is minimal. Test products you always have to be careful, even safe ones such as this, with DHT production. DHT production often accompanies increased test, so it's important to have your estrogens in good order (Pueraria Mirifica for instance) to minimize DHT.
EndoAmp is 800mg of pure Phosphatidylserine, which is loaded with Phosphatic Acid, which may be beneficial for your hair while also reducing cortisol and increasing test. That's a superb product they have there.

Re: Testosterone Booster
I just bought this from PP:
http://www.primordialperformance.com/store/Testosterone_Recovery_Stack.html
I am going to cycle it for a month and will report back here with results.
I also bought the salivary hormone test that they do and will do one before and after the cycle.

Thanks for supporting us Scotty.
One suggestion. I would go with the blood tests to get Total T levels as compared to free T levels that the saliva tests for. This will give you a more accurate picture of what the products are actually doing for you, outsite of what effect they may have on SHBG binding.

No problem.
Yeah, I went for the 4-pack saliva tests figuring I'd save some loot. The blood tests are $80 a pop. So figuring I'd do a before and after - would run me $160.
But, I'm not sure I understand why the saliva test would be insufficient? Isn't free testosterone most important since it is the "active" testosterone?

Re: Testosterone Booster
Crap - I think I misunderstood the saliva test. For some reason I thought it was a package of 4 tests - not a single test of 4 hormones.
Phuuuuck!
Anway, any suggestions of which four of the following I should test for:
You can choose four of the following hormones:
Estrone (E1)
Estradiol (E2)
Estriol (E3)
Free Testosterone
Progesterone
DHEA Sulfate
Cortisol
Diurnal Cortisol (4 tests)
I need to make more money.

The “free testosterone being the most important” theory is mostly marketing propaganda spread by people who sell something that increases free testosterone, or someone who only has the means of testing free testosterone.
Total T really tells you what your balls can produce. Once you know you have a solid total T number, then you can make supplemental adjustments from there to free up testosterone.
If going with the saliva. I would suggest E1, E2, Test, and Progesterone.
If you would like to switch to blood we can still probably do this.

Well it's look like it's too late to make the switch.
Can you add any color as to why E1, E2, Test and Progesterone are the top 4 I should test?
Thanks!

I want to make sure I don't take any supps that might conflict with PP's Test Recovery Stack.

Re: Testosterone Booster
Update -
OK so I started on the Test Rec Stack from Primordial Performance last Wednesday. The first couple of days I didn't really feel anything. Then Sunday, my libido was OFF-THE-WALL.
Yesterday, I felt relatively normal and read on the PP forums that they are recommending to cycle the Sustain Alpha 5 days on 2 days off, so I am taking today and tomorrow off and will go for 5 days starting Thur.
Also, while my libido was 'normal', maybe even down a notch yesterday, I felt great and absolutely demolished my workout.
I'm looking into possibly adding a supp or two to augment the effects. Will maybe add it in after next week. Considering stinging nettle leaf as rec'd by Eric.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

Scottyc33,
How are you doing with the Test Rec Stack? I'm considering some testosterone boosters for my post fin effects. Did you get any adverse sides?
Many thanks,

Lucky,
Seems a good mix together with ZMA, but please do report back. Read mixed reviews on tribulus and tongkat.

Cholesterol and fats boosts free-testosterone. Free-testosterone is able to convert into DHT and/or estrogen. This may come as a surprise, but vegans have 13% higher total-testosterone levels (SHBG-bound-testosterone) compared to vegetarians and meat-eaters [1].
