Propecia recovery
I've done the most stupid thing ever and decided to go on Propecia. After a few days I realized things are not so good having watery semen and no more morning erections. Just took it for 2 weeks (6 times 1mg, 3 times 0.5mg and 5 times 0.25 mg). I quit 4 days ago but still erection is not too good and it takes far too long to get one. Can anyone recommend some testosterone boosters, I read on propeciahelp that these might help.
Many thanks

Re: Propecia recovery
Just give it some more time. It may take up to a couple of weeks to get back to normal.

Re: Propecia recovery
My sexual side effects didn't recover until I started lifting weights at the gym and started taking Iodine. That was more than a year and a half after starting Finasteride. Don't listen to the guys who say they'll shimmer away. Finasteride does too much damage to the body that will catch up with those guys in the future. It just isn't an option unfortunately.

Re: Propecia recovery
Thanks guys.
I am lifting weights, went last night and the constant mild pain in my testicles dissapeared afer that. But returned this morning. I'm off the drug for 5 days now.
I also ordered a new top 6 batch plus Iosol. I also read on propeciahelp a story about ALC and ALA having better effect on ED than testosterone.
Decro, how long have you been on the drug?

I meant to say I was off the drug a year and a half, erections were very low quality at this time. Then started lifting weights and Iodine and now it's all good!.

Re: Propecia recovery
I understand, but was curious how long you took it. I only did for 2 weeks so hope the damage is not that big..

Re: Propecia recovery
I took it for several months, several times at different doses with the side effects varying in intensity. It actually completely stopped my hair loss at one stage instead of just slowing it down. I thought it was a godsend and basically ridiculed others for not jumping on it. As time went on though I realized how damaging the drug is and how misunderstood it's side effects are and how most of the information you get from online forums is from people who think they know what they are talking about, when in fact they don't. If you were only on it for two weeks I wouldn't worry too much, listen to the advice of CS etc. and you should be fine. Don't go near HLH or HLT for advice.

Re: Propecia recovery
Thanks. What I'm experiencing now is this constant need / feel that I need to urinate although I have urinated. I read the prostate might grow rapidly following the imbalance between estrogen and testosteron. Have you had any urinary problems?

Re: Propecia recovery
I'm much better now, no more prostate or testicle pain. Erection is 90% back. However, I've expeienced dry eyes over the last 2 weeks. Did some research and found out that the Meibomian gland is the cause and that androgen deprivation is making it malfunction. Anyone had experience with that?
