Speed of growth
I've seen plenty of products promising faster hair growth. What could actually help? I've googled methylsulfonylmethane - does it work and if it does, what would a proper daily dosage be? Perhaps the powder version is the best?

Re: Speed of growth
What happen if I take it at the same time, like 3g at breakfast?

Re: Speed of growth
I was up to 14 grams a day for a cleanse that I did. I honestly did not notice much difference between the 3g I am on now and the 14g I was on during the cleanse.
I am using organic MSM.

I just think it's better to disperse a nutrient over a day than splurge all at once, personally.

Re: Speed of growth
All my doses are split throughout the day and I should have stated that as I completely agree that absorption and length of time in your body's system is vital.
Make sure that when you take MSM it is consumed with vitamin C as that increases the amount your body will absorb.

Re: Speed of growth
MSM supports hair growth materials. I take NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) instead, which like MSM does also supply Cysteine, but it offers Glutathione boosting, and when mixed with Lipoic acid it really powerful against dietary insults.
Re: Speed of growth
So it should really be taken with vitamin C and lipoic acid?

NAC should to get the synergism. They sell NAC/ALA combined in one pill. The link is on IH's main page under his top 6. http://www.freewebs.com/immortalhair/mycurrentregimen.htm

Re: Speed of growth
Bumping an old thread.
I'm still researching ways to raise GSH levels. Recently I've considered adding MSM to my regimen in order to raise my body's sulfur stores, which in turn will be important for heavy metal detoxing. But I'm unclear on this bit:
How does MSM supply Cysteine?
