Hello all Empty Hello all

Hello! firstly i would like to thank the owner of immortal hair for sharing his wisdom! Gives me abit of hope that i could possibly stop or atleast slow down my hairloss without takin drugs.

I'm 20 years old, been losing my hair for about a year and a half now. Am about a norwood 2. VERY VERY thick side and back hair. Top is about 60% density.

Tried propecia but got sides so i quit that pretty promptly. Been on spectral DNC for a while but trying to quit it. mainly trying revivogen and hair signals at the moment. And have all the supplements to start the immortal hair regimen. So onto the questions!

Why does the brand for the first supplement have to be by "NUTRICOLOGY" FibroBoost 75 Vegicaps. Why can't i choose another brand. I only ask this because it's hard to obtain for me. I live in UK and the only people selling that brand are all in the US. I won't be buying from iherb again as i had a £14 customs fee :/

Secondly, The top six dosn't include

"200 milligrams once per day trans-Resveratrol works as an adjunct to Curcumin
to neutalize neurotrophins Source"

But apparently it's important if i'm taking curcumin? also can curcumin reduce libido? or is that only in large ammounts? So anyway. Should i include resveratrol? baring in mind i'm only 20 though. I read somewhere on this forum that it's not wise taking that supplement when you're young, so i'm abit confused to include that or not.

Thanks for reading!

fender89 - If you select UPS as the shipper, there will be no customs charges for the UK.

Curcumin will not reduce libido.

Also you can take a much smaller amount of resveratrol, although I seriously doubt that 200 mg would be any problem at all regardless.

Hello Fender89

I am also from the UK, and have been following the IH3 routine for over 2 years, then for 4months ago added the additional IH 6 supplements, and started performing a heavy metal chelating about a month, if you wish to follow the top six then iherb is your best option. No matter who you select to deliver your supplements be it UPS or DHL you will be charged import taxes or admin fees, but the quality of supplements you will be ingesting will be of top quality, and alot cheaper than buying it in the UK.

Quick responses to your questions, Yes it has to be Nutricology (I know it expensive), but iherb might price match, so maybe worth while quoting this to get the best deal. http://www.vitacost.com/NutriCology-FibroBoost-trade.

The only supplement that is hard to get is Acetyl L-Carnitine, as it is not from the same store (The one recommended by IH), so you will have to pay for import taxes, and shipping fee again to get the one recommended, so maybe be worth while going for:

http://www.iherb.com/Doctor-s-Best-Best-Acetyl-L-Carnitine-HCl-588-mg-120-Capsules/7779?at=0, or maybe theres another one someone can recommend.

I feel it is a must to perform the basal temperature, to see if your thyriod is functioning correctly, but it is still worth while performing a heavy metal chelating, so 50mg of iodine, and 200mg of selenium, maybe start off with 12mg, and slowly work your way up to 50mg. You will not get complete supplement benefits if you have heavy metal issues.

If you use the search function on this site you will probably get most of your answers, but alot of excellent info is burried deep in some post not relevant to what you maybe searching.

Cheers

J

p.s This is just a recommendation to people reading this post, but if we all donated some money to get a new forum layout, with a structure easy to search, with an area to have individual blogs then it would save the likes of CS, and JDP, and all the other good forum members a lot of time answering the same questions, and save alot of good info getting lost. Anyway I am now late for Fathers day lunch, so must go, hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Hey jimmyw thanks for the reply! can i ask WHY it has to be the nutricology one? just out of curiousity. Really appreciate the info on the heavy metal chelating. Never heard of anything about that so will do some research.

@hoppi, Hey man! =D

fender89 - Nutricology has proven itself to be a very reliable brand. Whilst other brands, such as Doctor's Best do use the same materials, it is entirely possible that there is a freshness factor or perhaps differences in quality control. All I know for sure, is that user tend to respond better to Nutricology's Fibroboost.

Seems to be that Nutricology is the only one that doesn't irradiate Ecklonia Cava making it positively charged. That's my guess.
