Cod liver oil vs. Borage oil vs. Blackcurrent seed oil vs. Evening primrose oil
For inflammation and dandruff/eczema, do they all work the same? I've seen some good feedback for blackcurrent oil, that it helps with eczema. I haven't seen many good eczema related feedback from cod oil though. Also would nettle root help with eczema?

Hello guys,
borage oil seems like really great DHT blocker, doesn´t it?
Please could anyone tell me which amount of it should i take?
I guess there´s nothing wrong to take it when I´m on IH regimen.
Thanks a lot!

tommmash - Borage oil is good, but be careful not to take too much. between 100 and 200 mg should be okay.
Cod liver oil varies in quality. The very best as of this time is Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil.
Eczema seems most helped by Borage.

When you say 100 - 200 mg of borage oil, are you referring to 100 - 200 mg of GLA within the borage oil?

jobey - The GLA content. In other words, try not to exceed 200 milligrams of GLA as anything more than that could potentially lead to libido problems. I should revise this to 250 mg which is essentially one or two capsules of some Borage oil products. But depending on body weight and other factors, trial and error will tell you the most. For most products with a high GLA content, one capsule per day is plenty.
