Tan from inside

Have anyone information about "Melanotan" ?
I wish some of the experts on this board would give me their thoughts. In my world it sounds a bit too good. Side effects?
I would still want to try it, but not by injection.

Could it perhaps promote creation of new liver spots?

Misirlou - Melanotan is very interesting stuff. There is still limited information about this, since there are a handful of small trials on it.

It works by increasing the activity of Melanocytes and some of the effects go beyond just tanning the skin. It also (anecdotally) supposed to increase libido and help keep the body lean. Of course, sun exposure works the same way, it effects appetite suppressing hormones increase saitiety.

This formula is obtainable through several online pharmacies. I've noticed two versions, Melanotan I and II. Number two is the one giving the strongest sexual side effects.

I also read about a nasal spray with melanotan, but this project seems to be very hard to get effective.

Right now it is needles into stomach fat tissue, once per week or so. Natural tan - here we go. Too bad it also increases the color of the liver spots.

Do you guys think melanotan could be harmful in the long run? I'm very interested in this stuff..as you might have noticed

Misirlou - There's lots of possibilities with this one. The worst that could probably happen is Melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer. There's no evidence that can happen yet, but it's too early too rule that out.

Other than that, nausea, and new moles that never existed before can pop up.

I read somewhere that it can cause moles.

Moles as in naevus?

What I read was that it would enhance current naevus birthmarks, but not creating new ones.

But the sun do accelerate the creation of "moles" in some people, perhaps melanotan would do the same, I mean, the drug do mimic the skin reaction from sun tanning.

Peeps screwed around with this stuff on Imminst.org and reported some pretty bad negs. Moles popping out of nowhere for one off the top of my head. I say stay away.
