Lugols or Nascent Iodine?

I'm looking to start taking iodine. It seems a little hard to come by in the UK but I've found a few sources. What do people think of Nascent versus Lugol's?

Would go with Lugol's because it's more cost effective.

I am planning to take a single drop of the 5% solution daily on an empty stomach in the morning. Correct procedure?
Will that be enough to initiate change in my hair and energy levels?

I do take Selenium currently so supplementing with Iodine shouldn't be an issue.

Can Iodine be taken without probiotics? If it is compulsory then I have a problem. I really have no idea what kind of probiotic I should buy. The info about them is so confusing. Am lost. Asking for help.

What I meant about "Iodine with Probiotics" is not taking them together but at different times of the day. Preferably Iodine in the morning and probiotics at nite. Iodine kills all types of bacteria, right?

do you think it'd be a problem if I were to mix Iodine & ACV? I take some ACV + water in the mornings, and it'd be easy to just drop some Iosol in there also.

Abhi - Perfectly fine to the mix the two together (ACV & Iodine).

As far as probiotics go, taking them at different times is recommended.
