It's needed to prevent copper toxicity. When too much copper builds up, it can lower zinc levels. Zinc is needed to inhibit 5-alpha reductase.

But if I take zinc and copper in a pill,do I need to take the molibdenum??
It´s really necessary??
It´s the only thing I´m not taking from the female regimen...

sissi - There is one other reason to include molybdenum. If you use high doses of MSM for a long while, it will deplete your levels of molybdenum. So, if you're not taking lots of MSM and you have no problem with excess copper, then you're fine without molybdenum.

I take 3g of MSM a day, divided in 1g pills throughout the day...looks like Molybdenum for me. :/
