If I remember correctly, Gibson did (internally against inflammation).

i badly wanted to try it, but i still need to find a good source of serrapeptase that is not enteric-coated...

If I'm not mistaken, it's the capsules that are enteric coated.
What I mean is as long as you empty the contents out of the capsule, there shouldn't be a problem.
