CS,

For my height of 5'9 I weighed 155 a healthy weight. Recently I weighed myself and I'm down to 140 pounds. I imagine this is tied to my recent lapse in healthy eating. There is a connection between consumption of carbs and muscle wasting yes? As a previous sufferer of metabolic syndrome do you think it would be wise for me to start weight training? Got any other tips in this area CS?

Thanks

isaac

isaac - To promote muscle, the nutrients carnitine, carnosine (or their precursors, beta-alanine) could be used in high doses to help build.

Thanks CS

I heard beta alanine was the next big thing in the bodybuilding community after creatine...does it indeed work? Is it hair safe? Will give creatine a shot aswell heard that it is one of the few supplements that isn't all hype and does work well.
