Insomnia and supplements
About a month ago I started a handful of new supplements as well as spectral dnc. Ever since then I've had insomnia caused by twitching awake with a rush of adrenaline every time I'm about to fall asleep. It continues through the night and I often can't sleep a full night straight.
I'm wondering if this could be caused by some sort of electrolyte imbalance. I'm wondering if either the celery seed, resveratrol, creatine pyruvate, or minoxidil could have caused it. There's a lot of new stuff I've started taking so I'm not sure what it could be. I've stopped everything for a couple days and it's been getting a lot better, but I'm not back to where I used to be.
I take magnesium chloride topically and I would take magnesium citrate before going to sleep which didn't help much. I tried taking potassium chloride internally before bed which may have helped, but it didn't completely remedy the problem just that one night. The muscle twitches and are what make me think it could be something related to electrolytes. I also used to take melatonin and then stopped, so I'm wondering if I somehow became dependent. I was taking melatonin when I started having insomnia and it didn't help so I kept bumping up the dosage. As of now all I can do is stop everything, and see if it resolves, then add back things one at a time. Any thoughts on what could be the cause or solution?

Re: Insomnia and supplements
Duder, get your hands on a good cal-mag supplement. Also some zinc. Took this the other night and didn't want to get up the next morning, good stuff.
