Post  hopeful19 Fri Nov 27, 2009 2:09 am

As I have previously posted,I get very tight calves and cramping after working out. They also begins to feel tight somedays when I am justing sitting around studying.

This has led me to believe that it is an internal problem rather than a muscular problem. So my doctor had me get blood tests for serum levels of magnesium, potassium, and calcium which all came back adequate.

So my question is where to go from here.
Should I look for another doctor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hopeful19 - Labs often do not reveal the truth. I would try taking some powdered Cal/Mag (Calcium Magnesium combination). That usually will clear it up.

THanks CS, is there a specific product that you'd recommend

hopeful19 - Any decent product of Cal/Mag should work, here's just one. Could be tablets, capsules of liquid.

Could deficiency of potassium be a cause?
What form of potassium supplements are best absorbed.
