Head hair turning into pubic hair..

I apologize for the sensational title, but it is the most basic way I can describe my hair loss.

I have no visible inflammation to speak of. What I notice is that patches of my hair turn into wirey, black (I have brown hair), and brittle hairs two to three weeks before I lose it. Totally different texture than my other hair. This happens in cycles, at the corners of my hair line and then directly in the front. When these hairs shed it's not unusual that they have weird 90 degree kinks in them.

I'm just looking for any possible insights into this mechanism and what might be taking place here. Maybe I could tailor my regime better. Anyone else experience similar?

I've tried a number of things, I'm 25, solid NW2.5 now with thinning all over.

More recent history:
- I gave the IH~10 about a year and saw no results or slowing of loss. Lots of health benefits of course.
- I was using an OMG 300 diode laser helmet for 7 months and I dropped it 2 months ago, as my hair took a horrific beating.
- I switched over to Curcumin/Resveratrol/Toco-8 about four months ago. No real positives I can tell.
- Topically I've been using Scalpure for about 2 months. I started using Ryan's IGNITE formula 2 weeks ago.
- Never been on Prop/Dut/Minox/etc..

Would look into the following :

1) Adrenals
2) Thyroid (iodine intake)
3) Candida cleanse
4) Heavy metal detox
5) Hormones (Testosterone / Estrogen / Estradiol)

Sounds autoimmune, though poisoning and other unpleasant causes are possible.

could it just be half developed hairs from the laser that are falling cause u stopped?

I have exactly the same thing every once in a while a pull out a hair that looks like it belongs to a short haired black sheep! No idea what it is mind you but your not alone.
