Exactly. I couldn't have said it better myself. More and more, things that are "genetic" seem to be the result of a mother's poor health, poor initial nurturing, or bad practices. I mean, if a family practice passed down from generation to generation was that the men in the family all swung hammers at nails with their eyes closed, the mangled thumbs could hardly be termed "genetic."
