Re: b-12 vitamins
This is false Brewer's Yeast does not contain B12 (unless it is artificially added to it), so supplementing could have potential problems, because of undermining B12.

Re: b-12 vitamins
True. Of tommmash's list, only Brewer's Yeast isn't a source of B12... unless it is fortified. However taking it along with the other sources mentioned will immensely increase B12 bioavailability.
However B12 is tough one to increase without enough healthy pathways in the liver. So I like to take sublingual B12, also take liposomal B-vitamin multi on occasion.
And number one on the list, don't forget to eat your liver.

What about this one?
http://www.iherb.com/Nature-s-Bounty-B-Complex-with-B12-Sublingual-Liquid-2-fl-oz-59-ml-59-cc/32455
Will it help with methylation as well?
I was taking liver capsules and am not sure I noticed anything? I only gave it a 3-4 week trial mind you...
Thanks,

Wouldn't you die if you ate your liver?

If you have to eat animal products to get B-12 how do the animals get it if they are only eating plants?

Mostly from good gut bacteria in the presence of ample cobalt. This is why it's important for us to maintain proper mineralization and good digestive health for optimal bioavailabity. Otherwise you can eat healthy food but still lack optimal nutrition.

eat beef liver 1x a week... LOTS of b12 and many other very good benefits. if you can't stand the taste.. soak it in milk the night before and the strong taste will be gone. for me.. i don't mind the taste anymore and now i actually crave liver once and a while.
you can buy the actual thing at whole foods.

i do like an ounce everyday. ray peat and roddy recommend 6-8oz around per week to get optimal vitamin levels. i also do a couple cans of oysters per week, it is another good one for trace minerals that i think would benefit you a lot as well that those guys highly recommend. they also recommend drinking those with coffee to avoid iron absorption.
