Brewer's Yeast

So I bought the one from Lewis Labs. Contains a lot of good stuff, according to the label.

BUT

The taste...well let's just say I feel fed up for like 1 hour after taking only one tbsp mixed in juice. I need to hide the taste completely if I'm going to stay on BY.

Lewis Labs claims their product to have the best taste, I can't argue since I haven't tried anyone else

Any suggestions how to hide the taste really good?

Misirlou - I wish I knew, I take it in tablet form and if I don't swallow them fast enough it leaves a horrible taste.

If CS doesn't know, who knows?

I do think the product is potent...it contains high concentrations of some nice stuff..but....THE TASTE THE TASTE THE HORRIBLE TASTE. I still feel it, several hours after the ENCOUNTER.

Yeah, the brewer's yeast can have a gnarly taste. For some reason, the zinc I take from Life Extension has a musty, gross smell but it tastes fine.

What I do for any weird-tasting or smelly supplement is go commando-style & just gulp it down w/water. I try to take it during a meal, so the food masks the bad taste.

I mix it with my morning shake... brewers yeast, raw wheat germ, fruit, whey protein powder and either water or 100% juice and two raw egg yolks. It's not something I wake up looking forward too, but after about 7 years I have grown to accept it. The more juice makes it more palatible. I drink the entire blender full for breakfast, but then again I rarely eat lunch. I have tried many brands of brewers yeast ... I'm using Lewis brand now....they all taste pretty much the same to me. I actually like the taste of raw wheat germ, although not initially. Strawberries and apples tend to disquise the taste of brewers yeast.

I will mix the BY with some delicious goodies..damn it better work or I will probably kill myself, or at least throw out the can

I use the twinlabs powder from iherb and personally I think it tastes awful with just water, but my current approach is just to mix one level tablespoon with a small amount of water (1/3-1/2 cup) and about 1/4-1/3 cup of lemon/lime juice. I do this about 3-4 times a day, just before every meal. The lemon really masks the flavor, it doesn't make it taste good, but I can down it fast enough and not have an after taste.
