Re: Soy Isoflav/Capascin
hey guys
i started my second two months supply a few days ago.thinks are going quite good i think. most of the days the shedding is less than before starting the combo.
i can still see little hairs coming up on my hairline but its a really slowly process.i still use niz frequently(5-6 times a week plus a bit of olive oil to take away the harshness-works fine for me:)
iam also drinking alot of green/black tee and soy milk.
my question to cs or some others is,assumed it is working, would the increased igf1 be enough to stop the balding process or is it like minox without dht inhibitor, regrowth for some time but a high chance of losing it again?

Re: Soy Isoflav/Capascin
Erm so is soy milk good or bad for our hair actually? I'd like to go on it as i love drinking it but have been avoiding it as some have said that its bad for hair!? Also, is taking curcumin alone good as a substitute for cayenne, someone mentioned that the mechanism is the same and curcumin is better earlier in this thread

Re: Soy Isoflav/Capascin
I would also really like to know if Curcumin would give the same effect as Capascin when taken with soy iso's. CS?

Re: Soy Isoflav/Capascin
NoGravity, I think the research paper refers to the topical application of soymilk. In this case it dose slow down hair growth and reduce the size of the hair shaft. Although, once you stop applying it the follicles return to normal. Its interesting read because the paper suggest that the application of soymilk to reduce hair growth doesn't have a systemic effect, meaning you can use it on your beard or legs and it won't affect other parts of your body like your scalp.
Capsaicin in vitro has a deleterious effect on hair follicles. Topical application of capsaicin can harm the hair follicle as well.
