Minoxidil Alternative + SULT1A1 Enzyme Booster

If we look at the mechanism of action as described in Wikipedia:

The mechanism by which minoxidil promotes hair growth is not fully understood. Minoxidil is an adenosine 5'-triphosphate-sensitive potassium channel opener,[24] causing hyperpolarization of cell membranes. Theoretically, by widening blood vessels and opening potassium channels, it allows more oxygen, blood, and nutrients to the follicles. Can we imitate that by using something else? But then again if everything is imitated the side effects will probably be the same as well. But namely looking for something that is a:

• Potassium Channel Opener
  
• Nitric Oxide Agonist
  
• Induces VEGF, HGF, IGF-1
  
• Activates Kir6/SUR2 channel upon selective binding to SUR2
  
• Induces prostaglandin E2 production by activating COX-1 and prostaglandin endoperoxide synthase-1 but inhibits prostacyclin production
  

Also sulfotransferase enzyme SULT1A1 seems like an important part of minoxidils efficacy for people that respond well to it. Considering the potential side effects of minoxidil and the benefit of Sulfotransferase Enzyme would there any beneficial value to using a SULT1A1 Enzyme Booster by itself? Is there any reason to think that SULT1A1 Enzyme Booster by itself can benefit the hair? Also a SULT1A1 Enzyme Booster actually have any side effects?

It's amazing that minoxidil is been on the market for such a long time, but yet there doesn't seem to be a product with is Minoxidil minus the side effects.
