Are all plants toxic? Empty Are all plants toxic?

So i was on Keto since a year or so and saw quite a bit of improvement, then the last few months i've been on carnivore and the results are even more impressive. Never again carbs for me.

One of the YT doctors that made me want to try carnivore is dr Chaffee.
Although i eat only meat, eggs and butter....i do still use spices like garlic powder, black pepper, mustard and some coconut oil. I also still have piles of supplements in my kitchen that are plant based and were very expensive...not sure i want to throw those away.

I also like eating psychedelic mushrooms a few times a year for spiritual reasons but according to this Dr, all mushrooms are also extremely carcinogenic. I'm not sure what to think about all this, this Dr is more educated than me but if plants were indeed so dangerous, wouldn't we see dead vegans everywhere? How about the people of Japan and Greece that live very long healthy lives? They eat a lot of fish and meat but they also eat plenty of vegetables...i am confused.

Here he talks about this subject.

I've had a hypothesis about this for quite some time.

It could be vaccinosis, which means a variety of symptoms, such as fatigue, joint pain, headaches, and digestive problems. This might explain why people have more severe reactions to "standard foods" than others.

Or it might be all the glyphosate and/or Atrazine herbicide, or various types of food preservatives in food.

Mikhaila Peterson is a good example of what can go wrong with having a dad who was at least in the beginning, pro-Harmaceutical, probably gave her a boat load of antibiotics. and she had autoimmune issues in very early years.

Not sure if it's as simple as body reacting solely on plant defense chemicals.
