How much iodine is in a 300mg capsule of Ecklonia Cava. I have read that the iodine concentration can be between 0.92 to 5.6 mg per 1000 mg ( 1 gram). Unless I'm wrong, this concentration exceeds the recommended daily intake of 140 mg. I'm asking this as I'd like to add EC to my routine, but my TSH is in the subclinical range.

Iodine is good regardless if TSH is too high or "too low."

I take 12.5 milligrams of iodine for 15 years plus...of course start slowly.

ECE has marginal or close to zero iodine in most cases (unless stated otherwise).
