Jiminy Cricket! There seems to be a big push for a change in our diet to bug eating. Crickets, worms, scorpions you name it. Cricket hotdogs were served at the calgary stampede this year. I'm a bit curious. How bad could nibbling on a crunchy cricket be? Probably tastes like crispy fries. But I draw the line at eating worms. Some eat them while they are still wiggling. No thanks! I'm sure these various bugs are packed with healthy vitamins and minerals. Bugs have been eaten for centuries around the globe. But I wonder why is it so popular now? There's a youboob video out with actress nicole kidman mawing down on some crickets and worms savouring every chomp. Oh well, to each their own I guess. At least if we ever get hit by a biblical plaque of locusts we won't go hungry.

Some whispers about the "elites" paying celebrities to promote eating insects instead of meat.

That was hilarious! Even though it did make me a little uncomfortable. Gonna have to wait and see what comes down the pike.
