Extreme Minoxidil sides CS I need your help.
My forehead is sagging very bad. It looks like Palpatine from Star Wars when I make expressions. I'm 34 and been looking the same all my life basically until recently. This started after a few months on Minoxidil topical. I immediately quit minoxidil soon as I notice this side. The glabellar muscle is sagging and protrudes greatly when I make expressions. I have a couple of light horizontal wrinkles across my forehead now. But the sagging wrinkles are not natural at all. They are like jowls. Another thing I notice is that my forehead is very tender when I touch it above the furrows just beneathe the hairline where the other skin is sagging..
My question CS is it too late to reverse the damage? Is it collagen that I lost? Can it be recovered?? Or is this a muscle issue?? (hence tender forehead).
I am scared as hell. I rather lose my hair than look like something out of a horror film.

An interesting post, because there's always a horror when I hear someone either wants to use Minox-a-kill or has already used it.
What changes occur in the skin that result in glabellar lines?
Glabellar lines occur due to the skin losing the strength and elasticity it once had and thus being unable to resist the force of overactive corrugator supercilii muscles.
Loss of connective tissue proteins and loss of hydration.
Decreased levels of collagen and elastin
Loss of hydration
I would go all in on Hyaluronic acid. It's the key molecule involved with skin moisture.
I wrote this article about a decade ago

There's more to all this, but only have so much time.

I read the article. I would need the other items as well?

I'm def gonna get hyaluronic acid. I've been researching all day. Nevertheless of all the items that you and CS mentioned, which ones do I get?? I'm not even working right now so there is no way I can get them all.
Choline-Stabilized Orthosilicic Acid (ch-OSA)
Hyaluronic Acid
Ecklonia Cava
MSM
monomethylsilanetriol
L-carnosine

I'll try to make this really simple:
Replace Choline-Stabilized Orthosilicic Acid (ch-OSA) with monomethylsilanetriol (they're both forms of silicon), the difference is one is a lot less expensive than the other.
Include the MSM and forget about the other items, because they are not cheap.
Slow cook, using crock pot animal bones, which include the tendons and skin. Ideally (cow feet/foot) and pig cheeks.
These particular animal parts are extremely rich in collagen and all the intrinsic factors that support good skin, including hyaluronic acid.
Carnosine is rich in red meat.

Microneedling is also a cheap option.

Foods rich in the complex would be easier on the wallet.
The silica/silcon source is this in large quantify:

@youngtrunks, I wonder if you ever reversed the minox sides gave you? Are the minox side effects known to be permanent? Or does it go back to normal once discontinued?

Minoxidil is like heavy baggage...once you stop it just drops those hairs, I call them Minoxidil dependent hairs.
This information is not from any personal experience as I've never touched these poisons and never needed to.
The toll is a waiting game...it's been suggested several months given nutritional and other factors.

I've found the combo of MSM and copper (4mg per day) to be very powerful for the skin. It's increasing hydration and decreasing the inflammation in my skin. They are both involved in collagen / collagen matrix synthesis.

Are you applying that topically or ingesting orally?

Orally- I've never been a fan of topicals, perhaps even to my detriment. Of course, zinc is important to take with copper. I take 40mg zinc per day too.
