Iron in my multimineral Empty Iron in my multimineral

I just found out that there is 14 mg Iron in the multivit/min that I take, unlike the rest of the
minerals it contains, it is listed as "organically bound". Does that mean that it is easier for
the body to get rid of the iron if it is not needed? Or should I stop taking this multi and find
another one without the iron?

cpio - It's really advisable to avoid iron in supplements. I've noticed some good multi's have it especially the totally whole food versions.

organically bound means it is the most absorbed and better for the body as a whole. It's actually better to have organically bound than to have the inorganic iron, because the latter would do more damage.
