lots of jobs but no workers
Not sure how things are with this south of the border....but here in canuckland a lot of businesses that were closed from the pandemic are reopening and hiring. But workers have moved on to suspected higher-paying jobs LOL. The minimum wage here is $15/hr.

Similar situation out here in Commie-4-nia/USA, of course politically closer to Canada than many other states.
Just to give an idea, a well known drive-thru based burger place is offering 18 to 20 dollars per hour.
This economic situation is a little like 2008 banking crisis but probably much more severe in terms of gutting the
value of the US dollar.

Re: lots of jobs but no workers
Same
People including the young kids are no longer able to work 40 hours. No motivation and no health for it.
I was at store and early 20’s kid working was in very bad pain.
I drive to get home and everybody is in 20-30 minute lines to get their dinner at fast food.
In 10 - 20 years, people will talk about 2021 as the good ole days. Sounds crazy but how I feel. Everybodies health, fertility and motivation is in freefall.

The same here.
Nobody is willing to take an effort to do some work. Simple tasks, etc... The population is getting braindead, this is the stage before they recognize they can not put in 40h/week.

Maybe pandemic pay spoiled everyone and now they want to stay home and collect welfare. We may have to bring in offshore workers from mexico like we do for farm work to do everyday jobs.

I mean, the world is clearly falling apart. Every day seems worse than the one before it, and what is there to look forward to ever again? I empathize with people just giving up. I don't think it's laziness. I think people are hopeless.

I’m in new mexico. 50% hispanic. Illegal is higher. Immigrants don’t want to work much either. It’s not the welfare making people soft.
It’s same in everyone from what I see. Serge is also right.
Plus everybody too sick.
Israel now recommending for people who got vaccine to stop exercising. Heart issues.
Heart issues makes you weak and tired. Most people have had covid and or vaccine meaning most people now all have mild heart issues. Keeps people from being able to work like they use to.
People aren’t as strong as they once were.
What’s worse is it’s said those with vaccine this is progressive. So people are going to get worse each year.
