I hear that ashwaghanda could help increase testosterone. Would this make it bad for women who experience hairloss? Or is it safe?

Increase hair loss?  No, but increase testosterone?  Maybe, but not significantly enough. Estrogen and Progesterone protect women.

And by the way, Ashwaghanda works mainly by reducing cortisol, which allows more progesterone. It's more of a win-win.

That being said, Withania somnifera (Ashwaghanda) is not suggested for patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, mainly due to thyroid function tests.
