Losing hair with perfect hormone levels? Empty Losing hair with perfect hormone levels?

Is it possible to lose hair with excellent hormones?

In a small study released this month, males with premature pattern baldness showed higher levels of DHEAs, prolactin, testosterone, free testosterone, LH, and lower values of SHBG and FSH compared to controls. There was no significant association between family history and baldness:
“Early male-pattern baldness is patterned hair loss occurring before age 30 years. Early male-pattern baldness in men is frequently reported as the phenotypic equivalent of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in women, which carries the risk of developing obesity, metabolic syndrome, and cardiovascular diseases. Very few studies have been conducted to evaluate this.”
“Compared with the 32 controls, the 57 participants with male-pattern baldness showed significantly increased mean levels of testosterone, DHEAS, LH, and prolactin and decreased mean levels of FSH and SHBG.”
“There was no significant association between positive family history of male-pattern baldness and grade of baldness or hormone levels.”
“Men with early male-pattern baldness could be considered as male phenotypic equivalents of women with PCOS. They can be at risk of developing the same complications associated with PCOS, including obesity, metabolic syndrome, IR, cardiovascular diseases, and infertility.”

also those suffering from hair loss
In the below blood tests, note the many instances of:

Low-normal / hypogonadal levels of Testosterone, both Total & Free
Low LH & FSH, pointing to secondary hypogonadism when diagnosed in combination with Testosterone
High or above range TSH indicating subclinical or clinical hypothyroidism
Elevated Prolactin
Elevated Estradiol/Estrone resulting in gynecomastia and alteration of the androgen/estrogen ratio in favor of estrogens
Effects on DHEA-S, Cortisol, SHBG and Progesterone
Low/below range 3alpha-androstanediol glucuronide (3a-Diol-G)
Low/below range Vitamin D (25-OH / 1,25-hydroxyvitamin D)
Various other imbalances including elevated liver enzymes (ALT, AST) etc.

yes , they are the scalp eercises you need to do

in many ways they are better than DT, because exercising the galea directly is futile

That's probably because it's down, largely, to baldness genes triggered by androgens. As mentioned before, many transsexuals on testosterone replacement therapy go bald, and that, IMO, can only be explained by androgens triggering genes which cause follicles to readily inflame. It's like with asthma - PGD2 or CRTH2 receptors within bronchial airways inflame when allergens are ingested... these very cells in hair follicles are promoting the same exaggerated immune response. If these baldness genes could be silenced, then these CRTH2 receptors would downregulate and inflammation would come to a halt. Yet no guarantee that hair would grow back, as we also know that follicles which have been in a long state of dormancy never regrow terminal hair, and this might be down to a tumor suppressor gene activated to prevent these cells from turning cancerous.

So, yeh, I don't really think it's an issue of "perfect" hormone levels, but more so to do with hormones merely activating genes involved in increasing inflammation and suppressing growth factors, or more aptly, progenitor cell maturation.

Consider the tightening of the scalp.

That is why botox cures baldness, it relaxes the scalp muscles.
