Adding Theaflavins-Liver Toxicity?
Hey all
This is more for peace of mind, I definitely am a hypochondriac, but I was wondering, I already take a bunch of supplements for general health and hair already, and I want to add Black Tea Theaflavins by Life Extension, but with a concentrated form like that, will all these supps add up and damage my liver?
I'm almost certain it won't, I took it once before for a day, then after a few days to gauge its effects and there were none.
I research everything before taking it and try my best to find the maximum sustainable dosage for a lifetime then just go below that.
I read about liver issues from Green Tea extracts, but I assume those were probably due to quality issues/poor brands or people mega dosing thinking it will help them lose weight instantly or something like that.
Also, does it really matter how I spread my supps out throughout the day? Sometimes if my schedule demands I'll take most of them at one meal, then only one or none at the next meal.
EDIT: This is more of a question of the safety of taking supplements, even at safe doses together.
Thanks

Re: Adding Theaflavins-Liver Toxicity?
I think it´s the same with those that try drug approach to gain hair or health, but at least yours is less harmful but still it is.
My advice is to buy a masticating juicer, and just go to your grocery store and feed it with greens, and drop the supplements.
Funny guy in a simplistic way but still it is simple:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oupmuHVtChM

Well yes that's the ideal solution, but I'm still working on it, once I get to juicing I will be able to re-evaluate my whole regimen.
Thanks for the advice!
EDIT: I just read this from a study cited at MPB-research:
BTB was also nontoxic (in terms of overt signs, liver and renal toxicity). (BTB = black tea brew of Camellia sinensis).
