Ok I really don t know what to do anymore.
As some of you know, I have lymphedema on my scalp that is caused by scar tissue. So basically I have adhesions (internal scar tissue) that developped few months after the surgery and it is blocking the lymphatic vessels. The only way to "cure" this is by doing hard massage (pinch) on the scar to release the scar from other tissues but the thing is that after every massage I had more inflammation followed by hair loss. So I did a litte research on the internet and this is what i found;

"There are also several negative effects of massage therapy on lymphedema. As mentioned before, massage strokes usually lead to an increase in arterial blood flow (also called active hyperemia) in skin areas to which normal massage techniques are applied. This active hyperemia is escorted by an increase in blood capillary pressure. This leads to a subsequent increase in ultrafiltration of water in the blood capillaries area. The result of this process is that more water accumulates in the interstitial spaces. As the lymphatic system is mechanical insufficient the lymphatic system is not able to manage this additional water load and there is an increase in swelling."

http://ethansjames.blogspot.be/2012/02/effects-of-massage-therapy-on-skin-of.html?m=1

This is totally what was happening to me, there was an swelling shortly after the massage therapy. So to resume the only thing that could release adhesions (massage) is causing me more harm than good. Im sure if i continue long enough with the massage there will be no more adhesions and so no more lymphedema but in the meantime i will lose a lot of hair as im doing now. And i cant lose any more hair at this moment.

How can someone release internal scar tissue without any massage that causes hyperemia?

Also I should add that after several weeks of massage therapy it was surely decreasing the internal scar cause i had less burning sensations on my face (caused by a nerve trapped in the scar tissue). But now after stopping the massage therapy the pain returned but the hair loss decreased. I dont know if this makes sense to anyone.

No specific diet, but mostly junk good.

I dont take any medications, any supplement and my blood test came with good results overall.

The hair loss happened a couples of months after surgery when i felt the swelling on my scalp before that no hair loss at all.

Get your lymph flowing with granulated lecithin, either soy or sunflower. Also get a rebounder or wbv platform. I use my wbv every day... similar to how you wouldn't drink oj with shaking first to avoid sedimentation.

Break up the scar tissue with nattokinase, serrapeptase, lumbrokinase, digestive enzymes (I like enteric coated wobenzyme) ... also msm and silica (I recommend Monomethylsilanetriol, low and slow.) Take all digestive enzymes on an empty stomach, especially away from all meals containing protein.

Good luck.

I tried doing rebounder but after a while it was causing hyperemia, the same with every other "sport" so thats a big no for me. Also msm and silica didnt help me (maybe didnt try long enough), as for the others i have no idea what they are so i will check information and eventually try them. Thank you

You've got it bad then. Drown your body in choline, like 3tb daily. Most forms of silica aren't extremely bioavailable. I'd also recommend foods high in chlorophyll or supplemental chlorophyll to reverse that acidic lymph.

Thank you very much 4039. I just ordered nattokinase and serrapeptase online. Do you think this might help together?

Massaging while having an overly acidic diet is never a good thing.
If you begin to follow the diet, everything will clear up in your mind.
See Robert Morse's vidos to have a foundational view on your problem.

You cant regenerate tissue on an acidic medium.Acids are corrosive.
We cant  believe that we are above chemistry.Cause and effect.Acids and inflammation.

Try raw garlic/white onion blended in coconut oil and massaged into scalp, yes it will stink but might help greatly

Topical garlic is used to remove keloid scars so it might work, search "garlic keloid"

basically garlic is a tnf inhibitor

Guys what if I use cold water while doing the message to release the scar/adhesion? There will be no hyperemia so no inflammation. Is this a good idea?

Thank you but that was not my question :/

The only thing that released the adhesion for me was the massage but massage is a big no when there is a lymphedema because of the hyperemia. So im thinking of doing the massage during cold showers.

I think I found a way but correct me if im wrong.

So because of the hyperemia effect of the deep massage therapy i could not perform it on my scar cause it created more fluid in the lymphedema, so more fluid means increase in size of my scalp for while, so inflammation= hairloss. Knowing this is the only solution, i was lost cause i had to go with the hair loss process to "cure" the adhesion/scar tissue.

But now im thinking of putting a compression garment on my scalp right after the message, so ive no inflammation right after the massage. What do you guys think about this? I dont even know where i could find this kind of garments, i ve to search on the internet.
