Scalp cooling therapy: Yes or No? Empty Scalp cooling therapy: Yes or No?

Post  NW0 Fri May 08, 2015 6:56 am

I was considering buying one of those gel caps that chem patients use to keep their hair during therapy, it's also used as a natural anti-inflamatory in people that practice sports, anti-headache etc. It seemed like a good idea to calm a inflamated scalp due DHT hell and whatnot, but I've read people over here saying how their scalp became more inflamated by doing cooling therapy, followed by shedding.

My question is: Is it a good idea, yes or no?
How long would the vasoconstriction effect last for? because I would use topicals after the cooling therapy, which would be around 5 to 10 minutes of wearing the cap daily.
