Head strap
Guys,
I was thinking about gathering materials to whip up another batch of head straps, and I was wanting to see if anyone from this forum was interested.
Thanks!

Re: Head strap
For anyone curious, these are the results I posted after using the violet ray, emu oil, boar bristle brushing and the scalp strap.

I'm also thinking about selling my violet wand, as I've recently hot a hair transplant. $250 including the rake electrode. It is the Rupert Huse & Son model that was recommended to be my Leon Maliniak. I believe they are $450 new plus electrode.

Re: Head strap
I'd be interested in getting the one that I sent you payment for that you never delivered to me. Or, you know, getting my money back.

I remember you. You are they guy that I sent a strap to, on two separate occasions. I just find it odd that out of the 20+ people that bought a strap you are the only one that didn't get theirs.
I'll tell you what, I will send you another one, but you have got to give me another address or something.

Re: Head strap
Thanks to the guys that have purchased straps!
I also lowered the price of the violet ray to $175 including electrode. I didn't realize Rupert Huse & Son lowered their price back down to $250 (without electrode)

Re: Head strap
How long do you wear this for?
When I looked at the Takeda Medex study, I don't think they used the strap for the hour as is recommended. The blood flow increased with the strap applied, then the increase dropped a bit when they inflated it, and finally it increased the most after they removed the strap. They said the scalp temp remained higher for 15 minutes after removing the device, though not sure if that was after 5 mins or 20.
Based on that I'm wondering if a strap would be best used in 30 minute sessions a few times per day.

I find that using it for 45minutes at a time works best. Pretty soon your scalp muscles get trained to be in the relaxed, elongated position and you will notice your scalp is much looser throughout the day. I think this is where a lot of the benefit comes from.

I honestly don't know how I would build such a contraption lol. This strap puts pressure all around, but it is not a lot of pressure. It's just enough to hold your scalp "up"

Ordering the Strap
Hi Slowmoe,
I would like to order the strap you've created. I sent you a PM but I'm not sure if it went thru so I thought I would try you here. Can you please let me know. It sounds promising. Thanks.

Re: Head strap
Hey Moe, how is your routine going?
I've been doing DT for maybe a month and a separate kind of loosening/scrunching routine for maybe a week (similar to what you did I think), and I can say with 100% certainty that my scalp is much looser.
However I'm torn on if I should do Tom Hagerty's scalp exercises...They certainly increase blood flow, but also work the muscles which I assume increases their size causing them to pull on the galea?

Re: Head strap
1-you tie the strap
2- you push your skin that above the strap up (mean while hold strap down so it can't move up with your skin) ,that making your scalp relax
3- now strap will not allow your side skin move down which keep your scalp relax for long as possible .
4- so it benefit circulation and relax the muscle too .
*scalp relaxer ( the air bag ) do the same thing *
