setipiprant...a not so far away cure?

Two pharmaceutical companies are teaming up with the university of pennsylvania for rights to the drug setipiprant. It is an experimental asthma amd rhinitis drug and has already went thru quite a bit of testing. Since the u of penn and doctor cotsarelis is involved it appears his theories on hair loss is being taken seriously. Setipiprant is a potent selective pgd2 receptor antagonist. Maybe the cure isn't so far off as we think.

If it can be made into a topical then side effects would be mininmum, hopefully.

This misses a lot out, especially methylation and mitochondria,

Isn't blocking PGD2 actually bad?

No. Blocking pge2 is bad since it helps stimulate hair growth. Pgd2 is what tells the hair to stop growing.
