I don't eat a lot of spicy food but I sometimes worry what it does to my stomach lining. I love hot italian salami and when I eat too much I feel a burning sensation in my stomach. And then it burns on the way out the next day when you go to the bathroom. Am I hurting my stomach lining and may possibly cause an ulcer? I only indulge once or twice a week. They say spicy food is good for body circulation so maybe it helps with hair as well. But I don't want it to be at the expense of my stomach.

I had a ulcer for 2 months, I cut out alcohol completely and spicy foods, even pepper for now. I have been eating a very bland diet. I would like to thank my juicer and the wonderful green juices I been making that have helped get rid of my ulcers cheers Red Beets, Carrots, Cabbage, Spinach, Kale, Turnip Greens, Parsley cheers I got them after eating spicy Mexican food
