Nettle affecting hormones: Good shed or bad?
Hi, quick question for those of you more familiar with the hormone cascade pathways than I...
My ND had some lab tests ordered to see about boosting testosterone. The results came back from LabCorp with:
Testosterone, serum 956 ng/dL (reference range 348-1197)
Free testosterone(Direct) 14.3 pg/mL (reference range 8.7-25.1)
Sex Hormone Binding Glob, serum 66.3 (high) nmol/L (reference range 16.5-55.9)
She put me on nettle tincture and its working: i feel better, more confident...
Im not exactly sure how nettle affected this, but I also noticed within 2 weeks of starting it I began shedding hairs at 4-5 times the normal rate, for about 2 weeks now. Im wondering whether this is a good shed or bad.. some of the hairs seem to be healthier ones. I know 'Speed' posted on this last year:

It seems he was on it 5-6 months and losing. I was wondering how nettle might cause this? I know I still have inflammatory markers and heavy metals through blood tests, but I'd gotten to where I wasn't losing. Might this be an improvement shed, or did I tip it over the edge into losing? Would like to find out without waiting 6 months.
Thanks
