I’ve been taking zinc now for awhile and I just started to realize that it really effects my mood and makes me really tired. When I take zinc it makes me feel extremely calm. Zinc has really help my sleep too, since taking zinc I’ve started having the best sleep I’ve ever had.

Is this a normal reaction? I’m only taking 22mg of zinc picolinate. Surprised

Are you by chance taking magnesium? Anything in the aspartate form?

It is normal for this reaction if there is a common deficiency. Its a great foundation.

Zinc can deplete copper so be careful. Not sure if the dose you are taking is high enough to do that, but try to eat some dark chocolate and liver occasionally.

i'm taking brewers yeast as well and that has a little copper and magnesium. i'm taking the brewers yeast in the morning and zinc at night so it doesn't interfere with the absorption of the other minerals.

my regime hasn't really helped my acne or hair loss, but i'm sleeping very very well and wake up with some of the strongest erections i've ever had in my life.

i'm also taking:
probiotics
vitamin d 5,000 ui
vitamin a 10,000 ui
lactoferrin 250mg
