Aneurysms Empty Aneurysms

Post  bh1546 Wed Feb 20, 2013 12:19 pm

A distant friend recently passed away from an aneurysm. It got me wondering if there are certain reasons why a person would get an aneurysm or are we just predisposed. She was also pregnant at the time so maybe it had something to do with it. She was a very active person and did bike rides all the time and such.

That sucks. Did post-mortem identify a cause? Young, fit people aren't supposed to die of aneurysms, even if pregnancy increases the risk. Sometimes it's just bad luck - but there are genetic conditions that increase the risk. Nothing I know to be particularly associated with hair loss, by the way.
