Re: Shen min hair nutrient
I found fo-ti to pack way too much of an estrogen punch for my tastes. The first and only time I experienced gyno-symptoms was from fo ti.
If you try it, stay vigilant about how it affects your manhood.
For me the tradeoff is a dealbreaker.

I used the advanced men's formula successfully for a spell.
Shen Min may help to control one's hair loss in its early stages. After that, I am not as confident. Even less so, after its company Biotech was bought out by Natrol, Inc. Now, probably in an effort to cut costs, the advanced formula contains far less amounts of the fo-ti concentrate.
Some literature suggests that he shou wu acts a blood, liver, and kidney tonic, removing toxins, thereby improving circulation, which, in turn, may allow for important nutrients to reach hair follicles. An acquaintance who studied Chinese medicine told me that hair loss is, in part, a malfunction of the kidneys.
Are photo-estrogens good for the hair?

The Natural- i read in one of your old post that you Toco-Sorb along with curcumin and reservatrol. Is this all you use or there are more additions to your regimen? I also read that you dandruff stopped when you started using Toco-Sorb did you have a flaky scalp or mild dandruff?

youngbalder,
Toco-SORB definitely strengthened my existing hair, but it did not regrow any, nor did it stop my dandruff.
I suffered from mild itching and a flaking scalp, which I was able to control, somewhat, through the use of dandruff and coal tar shampoos. But once I began taking curcumin and resveratrol, my dandruff stopped. Now, even if I use ordinary shampoo, I do not experience itching or flaking.
I just finished my last bottle of Toco-SORB, and have decided to try Toco-8. I am also planning on adding citrus pectin to my regimen this month.
Hope this helps,
TN

youngbalder,
I take 1 or 2 of both a day. Curcumin and resveratrol began working for me within the first month of use: dandruff stopped; then in the subsequent months, my hair loss stabilized, and I experienced some good regrowth in areas that had thinned.
